Luis Suarez has returned to the top of the European Golden Shoe standings following his two goals in Liverpool's 5-3 win over Stoke City on Sunday afternoon.
The Uruguay international has now netted 22 goals in the Premier League this term - two more than Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo in La Liga, who did not score in his side's 1-0 win over Espanyol.
Atletico Madrid star Diego Costa, meanwhile, failed to find the net as well as his side were held to a scoreless draw by Barcelona.
Fourth-placed Giuseppe Rossi remains unavailable due to injury, as is the case with Manchester City hitman Sergio Aguero.
